a year ago This was such a great stop! The donuts and croissant sandwich were absolutely delicious. Best blueberry cake donut I’ve ever had. Service was friendly and quick. It is also incredibly inexpensive. Would absolutely recommend!

2 years ago These are the best donuts in Amite and what’s even better is the family running this business! I really can’t say enough about the owners James and Roseanne. These are great people that pay attention to every detail to make the best product they can provide every day and they do so much going above and beyond for their customers! Their regulars show up every day and visit for a while and you can just tell the owners aren’t just selling donuts, they’re building relationships within the community and care about their customers. I would highly recommend. Taste the love in every donut!

7 years ago While I did not eat any donuts myself, I’m a diabetic, had gotten a total of 7 boxes, for huge crowd. Every one loved them, none were left. Along with how good everyone said they were, the service we received at Mary Lee Donuts was equally fantastic. They went above and beyond, and did so with a smile! Thank you for such a wonderful and positive experience!! Highly recommend!!

2 years ago I’m a regular at a Mary Lee in Baton Rouge. The only reason I found myself here was I was on the way to deer hunt and had to go for gas nearby. This one had barely opened, and several people were ahead of me. For what I’m accustomed to, and the schedule inwas trying to keep, this was a mistake on my part. He was literally taking donuts out of hot glaze and serving them the second they were safe, filling donuts to order right in front of us. Every donut for every customer was being made to order. I was watching the dark disappear and knew I was late and getting steamed. And I thought, why? I use the best Mary Lee in baton rouge, and believe me there are a number of them. They know me, my degrading up and down medical condition, can tell you where I work, the name of my autoimmune disease and my wife’s current health. After about 30 years they finally installed a ramp, and i swear it was just because on a bad day I told one of the owners I may have to stop coming soon. they also do hundreds of dozens of donuts before 830. I walk in 6th in line, I’m out of the store with my fresh hot glazed, hot jalapeño kolache, two packs of mustard and a milk in like three minutes. Amite ain’t the place. The pace is lovely. There is no fast setting. The owner is awesome and even if you haven’t lifted a brow or made a peep, his internal clock tells him if he took a bit long, and I bet you find something extra in your bag. Love it, as is, never change. Y’all tip these folks well, they work exactly the right way. I’ll try to be here earlier.

8 years ago Great donuts my boys loved them and so did I! Fresh and delicious and especially the filled ones are awesome being that they are filled on the spot! I honestly was a little skeptical at first being that I’m a local and grew up on a certain well known favorite but I’m so happy to find that these are just as great and closer to home and open more often. Yall got my business. Not to mention my 3 year old loved that fruity pebble covered one.
